Application • Cascade module for air source heat pump cascades installed outdoors. Cascade systems offer an efficient solution for larger buildings and complex heating systems. They consist of several outdoor heat pumps connected in parallel to achieve higher heating outputs. • Can be flexibly adapted to different building sizes and requirements. • The use of several heat pumps ensures greater reliability compared with large heat pumps. • This cascade module is designed as a flow and return collector installed outdoors for clear and simple routing of supply and return lines into the building with only 2 pipes. This reduces the effort required for installation and keeps the wall outlet as small as possible.

Convenience features • All-in-one design in keeping with the heat pump aesthetic for a harmonious overall system look. This cascade module is the ideal addition to cascades of the latest generation heat pumps. • Flexible siting of the heat pumps to suit local conditions, and consequently the shortest possible connection lines to the building, ensure material savings and faster installation. •  Less planning required for the overall system, partly due to the hydronic balancing in the cascade module.

Installation • Conventional cascade systems require numerous openings through the building envelope due to the large number of pipes from the individual heat pumps. Our cascade module reduces the number of core holes to two. • Unlike with large heat pumps, the AHP-CM does not require the use of a crane. • No special tools are required for installation; the cascade module is pre-configured at the factory, and the hydraulic and electrical connections are already integrated. • Commissioning is carried out using the familiar heat pump manager, which is also used for the heat pumps. • You can flexibly adapt the positioning and hydraulic connection directly on site, even if conditions change at short notice. • Can be installed easily even in the rain: the front and rear panels can be removed without taking off the cover.
